About the series
In 2007, Marvel and Dynamite Entertainment teamed up for a five-issue crossover that dropped Ash Williams from Army of Darkness into the zombie-plagued Marvel Universe. Written by John Layman, with art by Fabiano Neves, Fernando Blanco, and Sean Phillips, this series pits the chainsaw-handed hero against undead versions of iconic Marvel characters. It’s a grimly humorous, action-packed mashup that became a cult touchstone for fans of both horror and superhero comics.
