Gambit

In this 2012–2013 Marvel series, writer James Asmus puts Gambit—Remy LeBeau—on a solo adventure that leans into his roguish charm and criminal past. With artists Clay Mann, Diógenes Neves, and Al Barrionuevo bringing the action to life, the story follows the Cajun mutant as he tries to build a legitimate life, only to find himself entangled with the underworld figures Tombstone and the Fence (Lonnie Lincoln), as well as the mysterious Joelle. It’s a fun, street-level caper that highlights Gambit’s knack for trouble and his struggle to escape his own reputation.
