A mysterious, long-fingered figure looms over a spread of tarot-style cards, each one mapping out a different facet of Remy LeBeau's world — "The Hero," "The Teacher," "The Lover," "The Death" — while the central card, "The Thief," bears Gambit's own glowing-eyed face, a playing card tucked between his teeth. It's a striking, fortune-teller's-table portrait that frames the Cajun thief as a man whose fate is being read by someone — or something — decidedly unsettling.
