About the series
Over more than two decades and over a hundred issues, Western Publishing's Daffy Duck series gave the lisping, egomaniacal mallard his own long-running solo showcase. Anchored by the cartoon-savvy scripts of Michael Maltese and Mark Evanier, and brought to life by the reliably expressive art of Phil De Lara, Sal Buscema, and Joe Messerli, the book pitted Daffy against perennial foils Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam in a string of gag-driven adventures.
