Démon

In the mid-1980s, French publisher Arédit-Artima collected the sword-and-sorcery adventures of Travis Morgan, the Warlord, and his allies across 18 issues of Démon. This series brought together American talents like writers Greg Potter, Roy Thomas, and Dann Thomas, alongside artists Gene Colan, Adrian Gonzales, and Jan Duursema, to chronicle the struggles of characters such as Shakira, Aton, and Jennifer Morgan in the lost world of Skartaris. A key vehicle for introducing international readers to the Warlord’s mythos, Démon also featured crossovers with Jemm, Son of Saturn, blending fantasy with DC’s cosmic landscape. It remains a distinctive artifact of the era’s global comics publishing.
