In the distant future, an unseen force strikes at the Time Trapper, setting off a chain reaction that unravels time itself. Back in the present, a vibrant Batgirl appears—confused, unrecognizing Robin—and the Linear Men race to prevent the universe from collapsing from the end backward. As Batman and Superman rally the heroes, chaos unfolds: Hawkman fractures into countless versions of himself, Waverider arrives with Wally West’s empty Flash suit, and Extant stands triumphant at Vanishing Point, having overtaken the last of the Linear Men.

In "Zero Hour [Part 2]," the Justice Society of America pushes deep into Vanishing Point, where Hawkman and Hawkgirl are drawn to a terrifying convergence of every Hawkman across time. As the rest of the heroes face unraveling realities and cascading time anomalies, the battle at Vanishing Point turns deadly—The Atom, Hourman, and Dr. Mid-Nite fall, Wildcat and Sandman are aged beyond recognition, and the bond between Kent Nelson and the Dr. Fate mantle fractures. When Waverider finally confronts Extant, the truth of their shared face sends shockwaves through the timeline.
