The remaining Justice Society mmbers retire, with Alan Scott giving his ring to Kyle Rayner. The active heroes fight the many Team Titans, who, it is now revealed, have been sent to the present by Extant. At Vanishing Point, Extant absorbs Waverider, but a shadowy figure picks up, then destroys Alan Scott's ring (which Kyle Rayner had lost in battle with Extant).
