X-Men - Pixie contre-attaque #1
In this pivotal 2013 issue, Pixie takes center stage as the X-Men fight to free her from Saturnine’s grasp—though she’s more focused on settling old scores with her step-sisters Regan and Martinique. When the battle turns dire, Pixie draws a soul sword from her chest, forged with fairy magic by her mother, who reveals her real father was Jason Wyngarde, the original Mastermind, before vanishing once more. Written by Kathryn Immonen and brought to life by Sara Pichelli’s dynamic art, with cover art by Stuart Immonen, this issue marks a defining moment in Pixie’s story.

The X-Men battle Saturnine's demons in order to free Pixie from his influence. Pixie, however, is too busy cat fighting with her step-sisters, Regan and Martinique, to be of much help. After her siblings (and Emma) get slapped down, Pixie pulls a soul sword from her chest and her mother infuses it with fairy magic. Pixie then presents the magic sword to Saturnine and he kills himself trying to put it into his own chest (it was a fake soul sword). Pixie's mother insists that her real father was Jason Wyngarde, the original Mastermind, before leaving her once again in the X-Men's care.
