Cyclops turns on his allies and takes Angel, Logan and Judd to the Office of National Emergency's floating Dirigi-Carrier. He gives the ruby of Cyttorak over to Xavier but Tommy reveals it is a fake as he makes a daredevil escape. Angel flies to Wanda's apartment looking for the real ruby where he is confronted once again by Professor X. As Xavier explains his part in the death of his step-brother, Cain Marko, Angel reveals that his violent personality change into his dead brother Robert was all a ploy to get Xavier to confess. The police burst in and arrest the professor as Angel flies off.
