About this Collection

This Panini France collection, part of the X-Men Extra series, reprints the fifth volume of the X-Men Forever storyline. It continues the alternate-universe saga where Professor X never died, leading to a reshaped Marvel timeline with familiar X-Men and Avengers characters taking unexpected roles. The volume features a large ensemble cast including Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, and many others as they navigate Xavier's controversial global plans.

"La valse" delivers a high-stakes X-Men mission aboard an orbiting Consortium platform, where Jean Grey and the Beast race against time to disable a planet-threatening anti-mutant weapon. With Chris Claremont and Mathieu Auverdin scripting the tension and Daniel HDR’s art capturing the intensity, the story unfolds with emotional weight and precision. The cover by Tom Grummett and Terry Austin adds a striking visual anchor to this 2013 French release.
