The X-Men head up an all-out assault on the Consortium's orbital platform that houses an anti-mutant gun pointing directly at Earth. While the rest of the team faces Ziggy Trask and her Neo-Sentinels, Jean and Beast head off to disable the weapon. Tony Stark realizes that Amelia has gone too far with her latest plot to kill all mutants and betrays the Consortium. Jean and Beast make it to the weapon, but Hank can't figure out any way to disarm the weapon that does not involve his own death.
