The X-Men finally learn what really happened on Krakoa with the original rescue team sent in by Charlie. When things went wrong and the team appeared to have died, Xavier wiped the minds of everyone involved. Xavier then shares Vulcan's origin story which Gabriel himself doesn't remember: how Katherine Summers was pregnant when she was abducted by the Shi'ar and then killed by Emperor D'Ken. The X-Men work as a team to battle Vulcan and are able to separate Darwin whom he had absorbed. Vulcan takes off for the stars to go after the Shi'ar. Cyclops kicks Xavier out of the mansion.
