“Part 4 of 6”

In "Part 4 of 6," the X-Men confront a haunting mystery from their past when they discover that Professor Xavier once sent a secret team of Moira’s students to Krakoa—before the formation of the "all-new" X-Men—to rescue the original team. As Kurt and Logan grapple with the silence surrounding that lost mission, Cyclops and Rachel are captured by Vulcan, who claims not only that Xavier erased all memory of the operation but also that he is Cyclops’ long-lost brother. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Trevor Hairsine with inks by Scott Hanna, this issue deepens the mystery with sharp pacing and emotional weight, while Marc Silvestri’s cover captures the tension in bold, dynamic strokes.

The X-Men learn that before Xavier formed the "all-new" X-Men, he borrowed a band of Moira's students, mentally trained them and sent them to Krakoa to rescue the original X-Men. Kurt and Logan wonder what ever became of that team and why no one remembers them. Unfortunately, Cyclops and Rachel have been captured by Vulcan, the only surviving member, who not only claims that Xavier wiped everyone's memory of the event but also that he is Cyclops' long lost brother.
