X-Force / Cable: Messiah War #1
In *X-Force / Cable: Messiah War #1*, a desperate mission to the year 2973 brings X-Force through time to aid Cable and Hope against the relentless Bishop, where they’re greeted by a shockingly aged and unhinged Deadpool. As Cable bristles at the uninvited reinforcements from his past, Bishop makes a chilling alliance with the future’s tyrant, Stryfe, setting the stage for a war that spans decades. Written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, with art by Mike Choi and vibrant colors by Sonia Oback, the issue’s cover by Kaare Andrews captures the chaos of a world on the brink.

X-Force arrives in the year 2973 in order to try and help Cable and Hope fend off Bishop. The first person they meet is a very old (and still very crazy) Deadpool who leads them to Cable who isn't exactly thrilled with the unwanted help his father has sent him. Meanwhile, Bishop is also in 2973, making a deal with the ruler of this future world, Stryfe.
