“Clownin' Around”

In "Clownin' Around," Mr. Weatherbee takes an unexpected turn, running against the mayor after budget cuts threaten Riverdale High—only to find himself in a surprising political alliance. With students rallying behind him and the future of the school hanging in the balance, a last-minute deal could change everything, but not everyone is pleased with the outcome. Written and drawn by Joe Edwards, with inks by Chic Stone, colors by Barry Grossman, and letters by Bill Yoshida, this Double Digest tale blends school life with small-town politics, all wrapped in a cover by Jeff Shultz and Bob Smith.
