The Mad House Glads #77
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom February 1971, The Mad House Glads #77 captures the band's chaotic energy perfectly — on the cover by Dan DeCarlo, a hapless band member staggers under an enormous bass drum labeled "The Mad House Glads" while speakers and gear pile up outside a venue, as a cheerful fan tagged "Fran the Fan" looks on and a red Madhouse Glads van waits at the curb. The cover caption jokes that the Glads have "very heavy sounds — and some very heavy instruments!" which pretty much says it all. A fun, lighthearted slice of early-'70s Archie humor that delivers plenty of comic chaos before you even crack the cover.
