Archie and Me #81
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis February 1976 issue of Archie and Me opens with a wonderfully relatable premise right on the cover — a rotund man gets his blood pressure checked by a doctor who advises him to "try and get rid of your problems for at least a month," which apparently inspires someone to ask Archie if he'd like a month's vacation. The cover's three-panel layout does a charming job of connecting the dots between a medical office visit and a very tempting offer landing in Archie's lap, while the header vignette shows a portly fellow and a teen in gleeful mid-chase. At 25 cents, this slice of Riverdale life delivers the easygoing humor the Archie Series does so well.
