Spanning from a crime-ridden city to the mountains of northern India, Yarko must confront the supernatural forces surrounding the Twin Jewels of Blood and decide who is truly worthy to possess them.
When Professor GNU's water-stealing magnet dries up the Guatemalan countryside, a resourceful young fellow named Shorty tracks down the culprit to his mountain laboratory and makes off with the device—only to find himself caught in the scientist's vengeful plot involving an oversized experimental pigeon and an enlargement serum. What follows is a wild chain of mishaps and growth potions that leaves everyone scrambling to set things right.
Newsreel reporter Patty O'Day is sent to Paris to investigate rumors of a revolutionary plot, but her assignment quickly turns deadly when she and her colleague Ham encounter the rebels firsthand. Captured by the ruthless Captain Egroe and his forces, Patty must rely on her wits and the timely help of Lord Mike to survive an escalating series of traps and ambushes. With Ham scrambling to catch up after a harrowing escape of his own, the three must outmaneuver the revolutionaries to expose the conspiracy.
When Sancho and his master don new suits of armour and venture into the modern world, they discover that medieval steel is no match for the roaring traffic of the city—a clash of centuries played entirely for laughs in this two-page comedy.
