Web of Scares Special Collector's Edition #4
In "Villa of the Vampire," the Old Crone claims to be the real grandmother of Little Red Riding Hood, spinning a tale that reimagines the classic fable with a dark twist. When Elmer Dowd transforms into a werewolf, his friend Zach Parker is forced to shoot him—first in fear, then in desperation—only to uncover a far more terrifying secret when he reaches grandmother's house. With art by Myron Fass, this special collector's edition delivers a chilling reworking of folklore, where innocence is a mask and the true horror lies in what's been hiding all along.

The Old Crone, saying she's the real grandmother of Little Red Riding Hood, tells the true story. Elmer Dowd turns into a werewolf. As a werewolf, he attacks Red Riding Hood. His friend Zach Parker shoots Elmer when in werewolf form, thinking it's just a wolf he's shooting. He shoots him again when the werewolf attacks Riding Hood again. Finally, Zach goes to grandmother's house to discover the horrible truth about Red Riding Hood's true nature. Parker realizes too late that Red Riding Hood is really a vampire instead of an innocent.
