In the frozen wilds of Canada, Peter Jordan stumbles upon a hidden realm beneath Devil’s Lake, where an Indian princess rules over a tribe of the undead. As he navigates the eerie underground world, he must confront the dark power binding the cult—and the chilling truth of what it means to escape.
In the misty forests of Austria, an American tourist finds refuge in a secluded hunting lodge with a dark past. As night falls, the walls seem to whisper, and the air grows thick with dread as the ghostly reenactment of a long-forgotten tragedy unfolds before his eyes.
In "Fury of the Macabre Mannequins," a fugitive convict named Duval reinvents himself in Paris by stealing another man’s identity—complete with stolen fingerprints—only to uncover a chilling legacy: his new life is built on the gruesome trade of turning dead women into wax dummies. As the fingers he now wears begin to act on their own, Duval finds himself haunted by the silent, spectral figures he’s perpetuating, until the past reaches back to claim him in the most grotesque way possible.
In "True Tales of Unexplained Mystery #16," a chilling tale from *Web of Mystery #8* (1952), the legendary French puppet maker Andre Ulmer finds his life unraveling when his most lifelike creation—crafted with eerie precision—commits a murder. Accused and cast aside by a terrified public, Ulmer is imprisoned in an asylum, where the line between his art and reality begins to blur.
In "Genie of the Jewel," Walter Prado stumbles upon a mysterious ruby that unleashes a djinn bound to grant his wishes—wealth, power, and perfect health. But as each wish comes true, the price grows heavier, and the genie's true intent begins to reveal itself.
In "Wraith of the Battle Vest," an American tourist uncovers a centuries-old clan feud in the Scottish Highlands, where the ghost of his great-grandfather rises to aid him. With the spirit's guidance, he must confront the malevolent landowner Blackford and unravel the dark legacy tied to a mysterious battle vest.
