When Donald Duck’s attempts to teach his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie the ways of the woods end in comedic disaster, he resorts to a clever (if dishonest) ruse to save face—convincing them that a bearskin rug is a real bear.
When Huey, Dewey, and Louie visit Grandma Duck’s country farm, they’re quickly overwhelmed by the peace and quiet—especially at night—only to find her unmoved by their complaints. Their boredom turns to concern when they discover a letter from one of Grandma’s creditors, sparking a mistaken belief that her farm is in danger.
