Voodoo #4
In the hushed stillness of his mortuary, mortician Kovak scoffs at the supernatural spectacle before him—a vampire and a werewolf locked in a heated dispute over a corpse. When he coldly suggests they split the body between them, the creatures’ agreement comes with a chilling twist: Kovak realizes, too late, that he’s been the real prize all along.
In "Don't Ever Gyp a Gypsy," a man desperate for immortality makes a dangerous deal with a Gypsy, paying a fortune he stole to secure the secret. At first, the power seems like a gift—bullets can't harm him—but when his body begins to rot, he realizes the truth behind the bargain. Now driven by rage and decay, he returns to his apartment with one goal: to find his girlfriend and make her pay for what she kept from the Gypsy.
Inside the Flying Saucer! follows a crowd leaving a theater on Mars after watching a film depicting an alien invasion of Earth. As they step out into the red-hued dusk, the scene shifts to reveal they’re not just viewers — they’re the ones watching Earth from above, their home now a distant world under alien scrutiny.
In "Dynasty of Disaster," the legacy of an Algerian family's rule is shadowed by a haunting curse passed from one heir to the next. Each successor, no matter how powerful, is doomed to a gruesome end, bound by the final, vengeful breath of a dying slave. The weight of the past refuses to let go.
In "Hunger," a butcher's act of sabotage backfires when he's trapped inside his ex-partner's meat locker, left to endure days of isolation and starvation. With the scent of spoiled meat all around and no one coming to free him, he fights the growing urge to eat—though the locker's contents are long since declared unfit. When his body is discovered, the locker's owner is left bewildered: why didn't he eat the meat, when he had no other choice?
In "I'm Waiting for You!", a man haunted by the face of his murdered partner sees the dead man’s visage in every wisp of smoke—no matter where he runs. As guilt consumes him, he confesses, only to find that even in Hell, the flames of his past refuse to let him rest.
In "Kragoo!", an alien soldier with the power to possess and hypnotize Earth's population is sent on a mission—but after mistakenly taking control of a statue, he finds himself trapped in a lifeless form, his plan stalled and his power useless. Now, stranded in a world he can’t control, he must find a way to break free before his mission fails entirely.
