Uncanny X-Men #11

Part of Marvel's 2012 Avengers vs. X-Men crossover, this issue pits two powerhouses nose-to-nose on a cover by Greg Land — a gleaming, armored Colossus crackling with red-tinged energy squared off face-to-face against a snarling Red Hulk, both figures radiating barely contained fury. The tension between those two figures is palpable, all grinding teeth and glowing eyes with lightning arcing between them. Kieron Gillen's run was firing on all cylinders during AvX, and this collision of iron muscle and gamma rage makes a compelling case for picking up this chapter.
