Un Récit Complet Marvel #21
"Pleure, Ô pays maudit !" delivers a powerful, politically charged chapter in the Black Panther saga, written by Peter B. Gillis and brought to life by Denys Cowan’s dynamic art and Sam de la Rosa’s sharp inks. When the Panther spirit abandons T'Challa in fury over his inaction, it possesses a tormented Azanian, transforming him into a vengeful Man-Cat who strikes at the apartheid regime—leaving T'Challa’s people questioning his leadership. The cover by Denys Cowan and Sam de la Rosa captures the intensity of this turning point, a 22 FRF comic from 1989 that stands as a bold, consequential moment in the character’s history.
