Switchback is taken to Avalon by Mystique. On orders from Magneto, Nightcrawler contacts Angel for help in finding his mother. Magneto commands Mystique to enter Avalon and contact Destiny. Kurt makes plans with Proudstar to get him to Avalon but their plans are overheard by Moonstar. She reports to Apocalypse who sends his own agents to find Avalon and destroy it. Destiny meets Switchback and foresees the end of Avalon.
