“Burn”

In "Burn," Warren Ellis and Roger Cruz deliver a tense, emotionally charged chapter as Nightcrawler leads a hundred refugees aboard a failing submarine bound for Avalon. When the vessel surfaces and is intercepted by Callisto, the promise of rescue turns deadly—only for Nightcrawler to confront her with unexpected help from his mother. The cover by Ken Lashley and Tom Wegrzyn captures the moment’s dread, setting the stage for a journey where trust is a luxury and survival is uncertain.
