This anthology issue contains three military stories. "Feather Fight!" depicts soldiers Monty Hall and Tex engaged in combat against enemy aircraft while defending a snowy position. "Short Timer" by Staff Sergeant C.E.X. Houts, a Marine Corps Correspondent, follows Corporal DeSantis and his squad of Marines holding a hill in Korea under intense enemy fire and sniper attack, enduring freezing conditions while awaiting reinforcements and heavy weapons support. "Mabel and the Snorkel" features Monty and Tex at a proving ground where payroll thieves have stolen thousands of dollars from the safe, forcing the soldiers to pursue the criminals.
