Durango comes to town and begins taking notes on activities until he's ready for a bank robbery, drugging the sheriff to keep him sidelined. However, the Kid interrupts the robbery and while Durango's gang gets away, they leave without the money. Durango returns and demands the Kid face him in a duel. The Kid agrees, but Durango has extra men ready to ambush him and forces the Kid to unmask. The Kid unmasks but Boom-Boom arrives in an extra costume, causing locals to assume Matt Hawk was pretending to be the Kid. Matt and Boom-Boom quickly trade places and the real Kid defeats Durango.
