In "Spatium," a young androgynous couple flees through a surreal landscape pursued by masked figures in striped robes wielding strange knives. Meanwhile, two hair-covered blue beings clash in gunfire with a more human-like figure, only to encounter a painter reminiscent of Picasso, who summons a faceless, floating entity known as "the avaricious one who knows and answers."
