In "Zio Paperone e la corona dei Maya," Scrooge McDuck, steamed after being denied entry to the Archeologists' Club, sets off with the ducks on a flight over the Yucatan, hoping to uncover ancient ruins that’ll finally earn him a spot. When two disgruntled former Club members catch up to them, they trap Scrooge and the others in a mysterious pool known as the "Well of Sacrifice," setting off a tense race to survive and uncover the truth behind the lost site.
