Tomb of Dracula #27
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTomb of Dracula #27 (December 1974) puts Marvel's Lord of Vampires at the center of an apocalyptic tableau, his sweeping purple cape billowing as he stands over a fallen woman while a glowing, spectral figure wreathed in fire and a burning cityscape fill the background — all under the ominous tag line "City in Flames… Beneath the Hand of a Vampire!" The cover, inked by Tom Palmer and John Romita over pencils by Gil Kane and John Romita, crackles with lurid color and genuine dread, perfectly capturing the mood of "Night-Fire!" inside. With Marv Wolfman writing and Gene Colan on interior art, this is one of those mid-1970s Marvel horror books that reminds you just how much craft went into the series month after month.
