Thor: God of Thunder #11

Three versions of Thor — young, present-day, and elder — surge together through crackling arcs of lightning on Esad Ribić's cover, their red capes whipping in unison as they charge toward what the arc title promises: the conclusion of "Godbomb." Jason Aaron and Ribić bring this five-part story to a close in 2013, and the sight of three Thors united against whatever waits ahead makes for a genuinely stirring finale image. Ive Svorcina's cool violet and electric-blue palette gives the whole scene a cosmic, almost mythic weight that feels entirely fitting for a story operating on this scale.
