The Walking Dead #64
The third chapter of "Fear the Hunters" lands with a cover that says everything through framing alone — two figures walking unaware through tall grass are observed from the shadows by an armed, crouching figure in the foreground, a chainsaw resting ominously nearby. Charlie Adlard and Nic Klein's cover composition puts readers squarely in the predator's perspective, making the vulnerability of those two survivors feel immediate and unsettling. Robert Kirkman's post-apocalyptic world has rarely felt this tense, and with two parts still to go, this 2009 Image series continues to prove why surviving the dead may be the easier half of the equation.
