The Uncanny X-Men #495
In "X-Men: Divided Part One," the mutant team fractures as they grapple with the aftermath of Xavier's death and the disbandment of the X-Men, with Scott and Emma seeking quiet in the Savage Land while Wolverine, Peter, and Kurt head into Russia, and Angel stumbles into a San Francisco that’s inexplicably frozen in the 1960s. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Mike Choi, with colors by Sonia Oback and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Joe Caramagna, this pivotal issue marks a turning point in the X-Men’s legacy, exploring what happens when the dream of peace is left to scatter in the wake of loss. The cover, also by Mike Choi, captures the tension of a fractured team on the edge of a new era.

With Xavier dead and the X-Men officially disbanded (or at least that's what Cyclops tells Iron Man), Scott and Emma spend some down time in the Savage Land. Wolverine, Peter and Kurt visit Germany and then head off into Russia. Angel arrives in San Francisco to find that things have mysteriously reverted back to the groovy sixties.
