The Transformers #4
In "Things Fall Apart – Part 3: 'Seasons In Flight'," Thundercracker recounts his time stranded on Earth as tensions escalate between Autobots and Decepticons. With Ultra Magnus arriving to arrest Swindle for his misuse of stolen combiner tech, Hot Rod stands by his ally—though Magnus warns him not to trust too easily. Meanwhile, the Stunticons free Breakdown from Major Witwicky, but the rescue comes at a cost, leaving Witwicky without his vehicle. As the Autobot-Decepticon-built spaceship nears completion, the stage is set for a pivotal moment in the fragile alliance. Written by Mike Costa and illustrated by Don Figueroa, with colors by J. Brown and letters by Robbie Robbins, the cover by Don Figueroa captures the growing storm.

Thundercracker tells of his being stuck on Earth, while the falsified Autobot/Decepticon alliance of Hot Rod/Swindle continues as Ultra Magnus appears to arrest Swindle for his crimes (namely using stolen combiner technology to further his means). Hot Rod defends him, but is warned by Magnus not to trust him. Meanwhile, the Stunticons rescue Breakdown from Major Witwicky, but damage him in the process, leaving Witwicky without his ride. Things begin to build in momentum as we see the Autobot/Decepticon-built spaceship nearing completion so that both agreed parties can finally leave Earth.
