The Titans #38

The title "RAGE!" sets the tone for this April 2002 entry in DC's The Titans, and Barry Kitson's cover delivers on that promise — a woman in a black costume fires crackling energy blasts at a heavily armored, helmet-wearing figure whose enormous outstretched hand dominates the foreground, while a group of alarmed civilians scrambles to safety in the background. The tension between the two combatants crackles with real urgency, and the warm orange sky behind them gives the whole scene an unsettling intensity. Jay Faerber's "Moments of Truth" promises exactly the kind of high-stakes drama this team book does best.
