The Spirit #20

An anthology issue featuring three complete Spirit stories. In the first story, "The Spirit," a Siberian sleuth named Niechevo comes to Central City, and Flatfoot Burn's plan to rob the First National Bank is foiled when the crook is caught red-handed after a scheme involving a police car and the burglar alarm. In a second story, a criminal named Cardox attempts to hide stolen diamonds by burying them, only to be double-crossed and ultimately captured. The issue also includes "Flatfoot Burns and Jonesy," showcasing further adventures of these recurring characters.
