The Shadow #10
DC's mid-1970s run on The Shadow was a genuinely atmospheric chapter in the character's long history, and issue #10 captures that mood perfectly with a cover by Michael Wm. Kaluta. The looming, masked face of the Shadow — piercing eyes framed by hat and crimson scarf — hovers over a moonlit scene where two armed figures advance past a body sprawled near a wrecked car, setting up the story's title promise: "Night of the Killers!" It's a moody, pulp-drenched image that pairs beautifully with Denny O'Neil writing and E.R. Cruz on interior art, making this a fine snapshot of what DC was doing with the character in 1975.
