James Robinson and Javier Pulido's "Memoria Roja" takes a striking turn in this 2012 DC series, and Tony Harris's cover makes the stakes immediately clear — a desperate figure clutches a frightened infant in one hand and brandishes a glowing blade in the other, surrounded by red-eyed shadows aboard the rigging of a tall ship.
