The Outsiders #27

This 2010 DC series entry puts the Outsiders squarely in the crosshairs of change, as the tagline "New Masters… Same Disasters!" sets a tense, uncertain tone for "The Road Divided." Philip Tan and Jonathan Glapion's cover plunges viewers into a smoke-and-fire-scorched cityscape where a dark-haired woman in sunglasses raises a blade overhead while a hulking, glowing-eyed rock creature looms menacingly in the foreground over a fallen figure. Writer Dan DiDio and artist Don Kramer bring their considerable talents to a team clearly facing a brutal new chapter.
