The Outsiders #30

Dan DiDio — then DCU Executive Editor and Co-Publisher — took over as writer of Outsiders beginning with issue #26 in January 2010, paired with Filipino artist Philip Tan, who had recently completed high-profile work on Batman and Robin and Green Lantern. The 'Road to Hell' story arc running through issues #26–31 was DiDio's first sustained creative arc on the title, following Peter Tomasi's run, and represented an unusual instance of a senior DC editorial executive scripting an ongoing series for the publisher he was co-running. Jonathan Glapion provided inks alongside Tan on issue #30, with lettering by Travis Lanham; the arc was collected in the trade paperback Outsiders: The Road to Hell, published in November 2010. The cover for issue #30 was illustrated by Stanley 'Artgerm' Lau.
