Book two of DC's mature-readers miniseries finds the Nazz front and center — a cool, long-haired figure in aviator shades, a sculpted leather jacket, and an ornate necklace, arms spread wide with an almost serene confidence. Looming behind him in blue-toned comic-panel fragments is a wide-eyed, anguished face, hinting at the charged spiritual tension that runs through Tom Veitch's story.
