The boys accidentally do $3000 worth of damage to a Chinese restaurant. While reading fortune cookies, they find a desperate note from Amos Caldwell, the owner of a candy factory, who is being held prisoner. They investigate the factory and are captured by bank robbers who are using the factory to convert stolen gold bricks into gold dust to make (literally) golden caramel nougats. They boys manage to escape, and turn the crooks into a huge toffee-covered, bubblegum, chocolate, caramel, almond-flaked sundae with 2 cherries on top!
