In "Within the Darkness...", the Servants of Darkness—each a clone of a legendary figure—wield terrifying power as they carry out Darkseid’s will, conquering Daxam and turning its people into his instruments of galactic domination. As the clones march forward under a tyrant’s shadow, the true cost of their obedience begins to unravel in ways no one could have foreseen.
In the mystical realm of Eternia, Zodac warns Prince Adam of a looming death he has foreseen, while Skeletor prowls the Dark Sea in search of the missing half of the Power Sword. On Earth, Superman follows mysterious energy spheres into an underwater vortex, only to emerge in a world where ancient magic and ancient enemies collide. Facing Skeletor, Beast-Man, and Mer-Man, Superman battles for the sword’s power—only to see He-Man rise from the ashes, wielding destiny itself.
