The issue is an anthology featuring two main stories. "The Brat" follows Ronnie's frustration with her snobbish date, Harcourt Spindle, who refuses to acknowledge her younger brother Petie or engage with his interests, leading Ronnie to defend her brother's honor and call Harcourt out for his rudeness. The second story depicts a comedic misadventure at a train station where two teenagers accidentally swap luggage with travelers, resulting in confusion as multiple parties claim ownership of the wrong baggage.

Jo, a perpetually on-the-go teen, dashes to school with a mission—avoiding tardiness—but ends up sidetracked by a series of small heroics: catching a fleeing crook, swerving to save a lady from a speeding car, and reuniting a lost girl with her family. Naturally, when he finally arrives, no one buys his story, and his excuses fall flat.
