Marvel's WWII super-team gets their own series with this rousing 1975 opener, and the cover by John Romita says it all: Captain America hurls himself shield-first into the fray, the flaming Human Torch blazes through a swarm of Nazi aircraft, and Sub-Mariner tears into the enemy below, all while Big Ben smokes in the background.
