Having escaped from a house surrounded by Ivan Shark's men, Captain Midnight, Chuck, Kelly and Mr. Jones, make their way to the Secret Squadron's secret airfield. Discovering that Shark's men have located the base, Midnight and Chuck take to the air and fend off an attack by Gardo. Afterwards, Captain Midnight learns from SS-38 of Shark's up-coming attack on the Bainbridge Arsenal, so he and Chuck head for the facility immediately.
