From 1983, this striking DC issue puts the pressure squarely on the Scarlet Speedster — the cover, penciled by Carmine Infantino and inked by Rodin Rodriguez, fills the frame with a massive fist driving straight into the Flash's masked face, speed lines exploding outward in a vivid red-and-white burst that practically vibrates off the page. It's a raw, visceral image that makes good on the tagline "The Fastest Man Alive!" by showing just how hard it can be to stay that way. With Cary Bates writing and Carmine Infantino on interior art as well, The Flash #321 is a fine snapshot of the title firing on all cylinders.
