“Captives of the Boom-Boom-Boomerang!”

The cover by Jim Aparo sets up a genuinely clever visual puzzle: the Flash is bound tightly to a massive boomerang mid-spin, while colorful vertical panels behind him suggest scenes from different historical eras — soldiers, sailing ships, early aviation, and more — teasing Col. Computron's centuries-spanning Boomerang-Trap. The tagline "A Matter of Time!" earns its exclamation point here, with the Scarlet Speedster looking unusually helpless against a threat that apparently stretches across history itself. This July 1982 issue also promises a Dr. Fate backup, making it a satisfying double feature from DC's "Where the Action Is!" era.
