“The Lady and the General”

In "The Lady and the General," Lucius Krell sends Rainbow to escort South American General Cambio, hoping to secure vital mineral rights for Matrix—only for the evening to be shattered by the deadly Stiletto. As Rainbow protects the general and narrowly avoids capture, Krell learns the rights were already sold, throwing the mission into chaos. Meanwhile, Dr. Harding continues to conceal the truth about Angela Krell’s original body, adding another layer of mystery to the unfolding conflict. Written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by Will Meugniot, with inks by Al Gordon, colors by Jo Meugniot, and letters by Carrie McCarthy, the cover by Will Meugniot and Al Gordon captures the tension of a high-stakes night in 1983.
